Ron Hatfield is a celebrated figure in the world of bowling, with a rich history both as a player and a coach. His journey began at Ohio State University, where he showcased his bowling prowess, earning the title of College All-American in 1991 and the Bowler of the Year in 1990. A seasoned bowler, Hatfield has achieved the perfect game score of 300 fifteen times and has four times achieved the high 3-game series score of 847.

As a USBC Gold Coach, Hatfield joins the highest echelon of bowling coaching. His expertise in the sport led him to write “Bowling Beyond the Basics,” where he imparts his extensive knowledge to aspiring bowlers. He has been an International Coaching Consultant since 2006 and a USBC Coaching Ambassador since 2012.

Hatfield's impressive coaching journey includes stints as the Head Coach for the Ukraine National Bowling Team from 2008 to 2013, a Junior Team USA Coach from 2002 to 2003, and the Co-Head Coach for the Arizona State University Bowling Team during 2006-2007. He has also been associated with renowned coaching groups, including Palace Coaching Group in the USA from 2000 to 2014, and later, he formed the RKH Coaching Group in 2015, where he continues to serve as the Head Coaching Professional.

He has been part of the Next Level Bowling Coaching Staff since 2014, helping bowlers elevate their game and reach their potential. His expertise extends overseas as the Coaching Consultant for Stirling Bowling Club in Scotland since 2010.

Hatfield's contributions have been widely recognized. He was inducted into the Central Ohio USBC Hall of Fame in 2013 and has been consistently selected for the Bowlers Journal International 100 Top Coaches since 2005.

In addition to coaching, Hatfield is a successful Pro Shop owner since 2009, and is associated with prominent brands like Storm and Turbo, being part of their player and coaching staff since 2014 and 2016 respectively.
